An Examination of Choral Directors' Pedagogical Techniques for Teaching Expressive Singing

The intent of this study was to investigate the pedagogical techniques choral directors employ for teaching expressive singing. The sub-problems of this thesis were questions posed to survey respondents regarding the methods by which they teach the following expressive elements: (1) one color, (2) Dynamics, (3) Text Stress, and (4) Articulation.
