The mission of Graduate Programs in Music Education is to raise the standard of music teaching in the United States by promoting artistic, intelligent, reflective, and inspired music teaching at all levels of instruction.  Our work encourages a continual process of music education reform.  We seek to develop music educators into leaders and catalysts for change through collaborative educational programs and research that responds to the complex learning needs of individuals and organizations.

Music Resources

Music Resource Center & Curriculum Room

Brady Educational Center, where the majority of Master of Arts in Music Education courses are held, houses the Music Resource Center (room 103), which contains musical scores, recordings, videos, and reference materials. A special Music Education Resource Room is located in Loras Hall (room 104), home of Graduate Programs in Music Education.
