Counting down to the 35th anniversary of the International Day of Peace, A Musical Tribute to Peace for our Planet  features keynote lecture performer Mark Ochu, pianist.

With performances by pianist Ora Itkin and guitarist Christopher Kachian.  

Refreshments will be served.


Mark Ochu, keynote presenter, has taken his approach to music appreciation to some 25 countries on four continents. During his 20 years of concert-lecturing Mark has developed a marvelous series of thematic programs. He has also performed at numerous national and international conferences and is a founding member of an international music forum on "The Role of Music in a changing world" held annually at the Landegg Academy in Switzerland.


This event was organized by Cheri Shakiban, Department of Mathematics, and Christopher Kachian, Department of Music.
