History

The University of St. Thomas Liturgical Choir, established in 1977, is the Music Department choral ensemble whose primary mission is to lead worship in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Rooted in artistry and faith, our ministry is to support the song of the assembly and foster an understanding of our performance as prayer and service to the community. The choir consists of  students from a variety of majors, faiths and cultural backgrounds committed to the Catholic intellectual and faith tradition expressed in the vision and convictions of the Music Department and Campus Ministry.
