Karen Benson instructs children in grades PreK-5 for the Millard Public Schools in Omaha, Nebraska. She sings in the adult choir “Canticum” and also directs “Sono Via,” a K-6 Orff Schulwerk group, both ensembles in the community music organization SingOmaha. At Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bellevue, Nebraska she serves as a music director for Sunday school classes. She teaches at several Orff Schulwerk Teacher Training Courses and is an active workshop clinician. Karen served as Local Conference Co-Chair for the 2006 AOSA national conference in Omaha and has served on the AOSA National Board of Trustees.
