Dan LeJeune is the middle school choral director at the Blake School in Hopkins, MN. Dan taught elementary and middle school vocal music in Maryland public schools for thirteen years. His choirs have performed for eight state, regional, and national professional music conferences. He has directed festival and honor choirs at the elementary and middle school levels in Oklahoma, Maryland, Virginia, and Minnesota. Dan received a M.M. degree in Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and a B.M. degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University. He leads workshops and teaches summer classes focusing on elementary and middle school choral repertoire, techniques, and musicianship. He has been a visiting instructor at Colorado College, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, George Mason University, and the University of St. Thomas, where he has been teaching musicianship classes for the Kodály Institute since 1995.
