Carroll Gonzo is the Chiuminnato Distinguished Professor of Research in Music Education at the University St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he teaches research, and supervises the writing of masters theses. He has served on the faculties of the University of Illinois, Urbana; University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; University of Wisconsin, Madison; Hartt School of Music, Hartford; and the University of Texas at Austin. Gonzo has received a number of research grants, published 50 articles in professional research journals, and contributed chapters to three published textbooks. He is currently editor of the American Choral Directors Association's Choral Journal. Dr. Gonzo has conducted choral festivals and served as clinician and adjudicator throughout the United States, and in Toronto, Canada. He has been a contributing textbook author for Silver Burdett and Gin, a subsidiary of Scott Foresman Publishing Company.
