Master of Arts in Religous Education

The Master of Arts in Religious Education (MARE) is a forty-five-credit degree — granted by the University of St. Thomas through the Murray Institute — which provides the archdiocese with an integrated approach to the professional and spiritual development of many leaders.

The MARE degree addresses the following goals:

• Providing professional and spiritual development and support of leaders in faith formation, catechists, and youth ministers active in archdiocesan institutions;
  
  
• Promoting a deeper understanding of the educational mission of the Church.
