Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction

The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction: K-12 Education program offers elementary and secondary teachers an advanced program to specifically meet their professional objectives and goals. In this program, students:

• Learn to design, develop, implement and evaluate curriculum;
• Develop and implement skills and abilities for leadership necessary for working with others;
• Gain knowledge of schools as organizations;
• Enhance teaching skills in relationship to theories of learning (instructional strategies);
• Develop a working knowledge of current research;
• Develop an understanding of humanistic and behavioral studies.
