BORROWING PRIVILEGES

Students, faculty and staff of Luther Seminary have library privileges. Luther Seminary I.D. cards function as library cards.

Extension borrowers include graduates of Luther seminary, full-time church professionals (any denomination) in the seven county metro area, and Lutheran clergy nationwide.

Visiting scholars and adjunct faculty who have official status may register for borrowing privileges.

LOAN PERIOD

Items in the regular circulating collection are loaned for six weeks to students and extension borrowers, six months to graduate students (PhD, MTh), and annually (June due date) to faculty.

The following items do not circulate and may only be used within the library: reference material, periodicals, items housed in Special Collections.

COURSE RESERVES

The library shelves course materials at the circulation desk. A print list of reserve books and articles for specific courses is kept at the circulation desk. The online catalog also displays information on course reserves.
