Bo is the Global Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the Marsh & McLennan Companies. Before joining Marsh, Bo was the Global Diversity & Inclusion Practice Leader for Diversity Best Practices and an Associate Partner Aon Hewitt’s Emerging Workforce Solutions & Diversity & Inclusion Practice. She also worked with such prestigious organizations as Catalyst, Accenture and Ernst & Young and is an expert in gender dynamics in the workplace. With experience both internally as a diversity leader and as a consultant, Bo truly understands the nuanced complexity of driving diversity in an organization and embedding it into core people, business & operational functions. Bo regularly partners with senior executives to help organizations define their D&I business case; launch & facilitate Diversity Leadership Councils; build metrics, diversity scorecards, and accountability models; define and articulate strategy and action plans; redesign flexibility & work-life policies and programs; execute qualitative & quantitative cultural audits; and design mentoring programs and launch affinity groups. Bo speaks widely on topics ranging from how to embed D&I into broad HR processes including performance management & talent acquisition, to generational differences, cross-cultural competence, and gender dynamics in the workplace.
