About Miriam Vaughn-Lee

Miriam Vaughn-Lee is a veteran HR professional with over twenty-years of experience.   Miriam has experience as a Training and Development manager.  She is seasoned trainer, employee relations specialist, and workshop facilitator.  Prior to here current venture, Miriam was president of Vaughn-Lee and Associates, a Human Resources consulting firm specializing in diversity implementation and training. 

Presently, Miriam is the Director of Employment, Development and Diversity for the City of Minneapolis where she is responsible for the development and implementation of the 5-year strategic diversity plan as well as all employment and training related activities.  She has been an adjunct faculty and workshop facilitator for the University of North Dakota and University of Minnesota (Carlson School of Management and Continuing Education for over 16 years.  Miriam holds degrees in English Education and Curriculum and Instruction and is a Cornell University Certified Diversity Professional.  She is a member of TCHRA, SHRM, and IPMA-HR.
