About John Tobin

As National General Manager and co-founder of Slalom Consulting, John Tobin is responsible for driving the overall vision, direction and operations for Slalom’s 11 Offices. By attracting and empowering a team of strong regional leaders rooted in their own local markets—the engine powering Slalom's local strategy—he guides the company toward expanded growth, a larger footprint, and a wider range of innovative solutions.

Prior to Slalom, John served as Director of Architecture at AT&T Wireless and as a manager at Ernst & Young, among other firms. A 2011 winner of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants award and a 2008 winner of the Ernst & Young Pacific Northwest Entrepreneur of the Year award, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. John enjoys golf and playing sports with his wife, Ellen, and three children, Greta, Riva, and Ryan.
