About Rita Taylor-Nash

Rita Taylor-Nash is the Vice President - Corporate Diversity for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), which includes Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, and Dearborn National.  She is responsible for strategy implementation and operations for the Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion Services (EDIS) division.

She has held a variety of leadership positions in diversity and inclusion, equal opportunity, affirmative action and talent acquisition.  She is a founding member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s Diversity Alliance.  She also initiated and heads HCSC’s Disability Taskforce which focuses on integration of considerations of persons with disabilities in policies, practices and operations.

Rita currently serves on the boards of the South-Southwest Suburban United Way, Govenors State University Advisory Board, the Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago, the SHRM Diversity Taskforce, and the Corporate Advisory Board of the US Business Leadership Network (USBLN).

She received a BA in sociology from the University of Chicago and holds a MA in sociology from the University of Michigan.
