About Carly Sanchez
Carly Sanchez has been serving as Chief Diversity Officer for AIG, providing direction and support for AIG’s focus on the advancement of its culture of inclusion, and the implementation of concrete initiatives to support related programs for its people and their development. Ms. Sanchez received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Harvard University and a master’s degree in developmental psychology from Tufts University. She has served as an instructor in community colleges and at Texas A&M Kingsville. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the National Diversity Council, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Council. In 2011, Ms. Sanchez was named as a Top Executive in Diversity by the editors of Black Enterprise and by Hispanic Business magazine to the list of 100 Influential Hispanics. She also received the Multicultural Leadership Award from the Texas Diversity Council, and was named a Most Powerful and Influential Women of the Tri-State Area Award by the National Diversity Council.
