About Jodi Roeske, Vice President of Training and Development

Jodi Roeske is responsible for leading the design and implementation of all training activities to support the needs of the overall brand strategy, including new store openings,
customer satisfaction, workforce development and productivity initiatives.
As a key member of Carrabba’s leadership team, she helped grow the brand from five
locations to more than 230 locations across the country.

Ms. Roeske began her career with Bloomin’ Brands in 1992 as a server at Outback
Steakhouse and was quickly promoted to become one of their first Regional Service
Technicians, and later National Training Coordinator. In 1994, she became the
Director of Training for Outback’s newly acquired concept ? Carrabba’s Italian Grill ?
before being named Vice President of Training and Development in 2003.

Ms. Roeske is actively involved with the Women’s Foodservice Forum where she
serves as the Bloomin’ Brands ambassador, and on the national content advisory
committee. She also is a member of the American Society of Training and
Development and is a certified trainer for a variety of leadership, development
and diversity workshops.

Ms. Roeske is a past recipient of the prestigious “Carrabbamico of the Year” award,
which acknowledged her contributions to Carrabba’s.
She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Oswego State University
in New York.
