About Chris Roberts

Chris Roberts joined Cargill and was named Vice President for Corn Sweeteners North America in May 2006, with responsibility for the sales and commercial operations aspects of the Sweeteners Business. In June of 2009, Chris added oversight of the DCI and Sugar businesses to his responsibility and served as Food Segment Leader for Corn Milling North America. In 2011, Chris was appointed President of Cargill Kitchen Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary, which specializes in providing breakfast products to customers in the foodservice and consumer products industries.

Chris joined Cargill in 2006 from the Coca-Cola Company where he held various Sales, Marketing and general management positions including Group Vice President of the Coca-Cola foodservice business in the southern US, and Vice President Retail Marketing for Coca-Cola USA. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Chris held various marketing and sales positions at the Frito-Lay division of Pepsico, including Director of Marketing for Doritos Tortilla Chips, Senior Marketing Manager for Fritos Corn Chips, Field Marketing Manager for the Western US, Zone Sales Leader in Metro Southern California and Manager of New Product Innovation.

He graduated from The University of Illinois with a BA in Economics in 1984 and a Masters Degree in Finance, Marketing and Strategy from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1988.
