About Julius Rhodes
Julius E. Rhodes, SPHR (Senior Profession in Human Resources – Lifetime Designation) is Founder and Principal of the mpr group, his MBE Certified Human Capital and Human Resources consulting practice based in Chicago, IL. He is the author of the recently published book; BRAND: YOU Personal Branding for Success in Life and Business. Prior to launch his firm he worked for several leading-edge Fortune 100 organizations, where he had responsibility for leading diversity and inclusion efforts designed to increase employee participation and engagement of under-represented constituencies.
Civic and social involvements include serving as board member for Kids In Danger, the American Society of Safety Engineers and the Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago an authentic African performing arts troupe. He serves as a youth mentor and is chief D&I advisor to Mount Carmel High School an all-male Catholic institution in Chicago, Il.
Rhodes received a Bachelor’s in Personnel Supervision from Roosevelt University and a Master’s in Human Resources from and Loyola University both in Chicago. He is currently working on his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Business Ethics at Loyola University. In addition he completed the arbitrator development program through Cornell University and the New York State Employment Relations Board.
