About Jennifer "Jae" Pi'ilani Requiro


Jennifer "Jae" Pi’ilani Requiro is the National Manager of Diversity and Inclusion at Toyota Financial Services.  Her responsibilities focus on diversity and inclusion (D&I) education, communication, executive scorecards, mentoring, and employee resource groups.  In addition, Jae develops strategies to enhance Toyota’s reputation, and to increase partnerships with certified diverse suppliers.

Jae has been invited to present at conferences, workshops, and educational forums; and has been asked to speak to large corporations seeking guidance in launching large-scale D&I change initiatives.  She has also participated on multiple panels at diversity conferences, sharing her insights on ERGs and generational diversity.

Jae was featured in aMagazine as a role model for breaking stereotypes of Asian American women, and has been interviewed for DiversityCentral.com and DiversityInc magazine.  She served on the board of Kaulana Ka Hale Kula O’ Na Pua O’ Ka ‘Aina, which instills the traditions of the Hawaiian culture into the hearts of youth.  Currently, Jae serves on the Diversity Collegium, a think tank founded to advance the field of diversity.

Jae attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her BA in sociology, specializing in stratification, race, and ethnicity, with an emphasis in business administration.  In her spare time, Jae performs hula; paddles outrigger canoes; and is mother to a teen-aged daughter, who is her source of inspiration and perspiration.
