About Judy Ravin

Judy Ravin is the Founder and President of the Accent Reduction Institute (ARI) and author of internationally bestselling software-based learning systems for rapid language acquisition. Ravin’s objective is to minimize communication barriers in a global economy while helping people maintain their unique cultural identity. She’s a recognized leader in helping Fortune 500 companies promote women and minorities to leadership positions. Ravin has taught at the University of Michigan, Cornell University, and the Defense Language Institute-D.C.

Believing that communication is a two-way street, Ravin also pioneered the field of Accent Comprehension, giving business professionals the tools needed to systematically understand the rich and diverse accents of their clients and colleagues.
