About Tom Mitchell

Tom Mitchell is a Manager in PwC Saratoga with nearly twenty years of experience directing qualitative and quantitative research projects in the areas of employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, organization culture, and total rewards. Over his career, Tom has consulted with both first-time and ongoing survey initiatives, with extensive experience in questionnaire design, data analysis and interpretation, and results reporting. Additionally, he has supported organizations in identifying priority areas and subsequent action-planning activities. Tom has published and presented research papers on such topics as public sector recruitment and retention, measurements of customer satisfaction, and maintaining customer loyalty. He has also held survey director positions with non-profit research organizations directing large-scale data collection engagements. Tom graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in economics and went on to obtain his MPA in public administration and research methodology from Southern Illinois University.
