About Keith Lawrence
Keith Lawrence is a student, architect and teacher of high performance- how people, teams, and organizations unleash their full potential. He is a connector of ideas, having invested forty years of immersing himself into what creates extraordinary performance. Keith has developed and integrated proven best practices into simple, holistic approaches to achieve and sustain success.
Keith began his career with the Procter and Gamble Company (the world’s largest consumer products firm) . He worked across a number of billion dollar brands including Pampers, Bounty, Charmin, Olay, Crest, and Pantene. His assignments included line leadership as well as all aspects of Human Resources across multiple functions -including manufacturing, customer services, purchases, engineering, marketing and external relations. He led worldwide efforts to redefine the Supply Chain, integrate the 23,000 employees joining via the Gillette acquisition (the 9th largest in corporate history), accelerate diverse leadership development and countless organization startups and restructurings. During his time at P&G Keith benchmarked over a hundred different companies seeking to learn from the world's very best. He retired from P&G after 32 years at the end of 2009.
Keith is the founder of the firm Sustaining Success Solutions, LLC. This practice is focused on enabling people and organization’s to discover, develop, and deliver breakthrough results while fulfilling the personal aspirations of its members. Keith’s experience has led him to engagements with over 10,000 people in 17 countries and 18 states and partnering with other companies including G.E., Staples, Toyota, Accenture, IBM, Whirlpool, Merrill Lynch, Bridgestone, The Energy Project, and Kellogg. He is an adjunct member of Dave Ulrich's RBL Institute.
His newest book 'Your Retirement Quest - Ten Secrets to Creating And Living A Fulfilling Retirement' was published July 4th, 2010 and is already in the top 5% of Amazon book sales. It captures the key insights from a decade of research and interviews with over 200 retirees about what it takes so that 'the rest of life is the best of life'.
Keith graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and has completed his MBA. He has published several articles, spoken at numerous forums and is a member of several boards and advisory councils.
He resides in Cincinnati Ohio with his wife Sue. They have five grown children and enjoy a wide range of hobbies, community activities and interests.
