About Cal Jackson

Cal Jackson is the CEO / Founder of Diversity Inclusion Ventures, llc and a certified NTL Diversity Practitioner.  After 5 years as a television news reporter, Cal served as a press secretary for the mayor of Atlanta.  He began his journey as a corporate leader with MCI Telecommunications and Prudential Insurance.  Cal produces and edits documentaries and corporate diversity videos for his education modules. In 2004, Cal began his career in Cultural Competency education while at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida.

He has received numerous accolades for his work from the Florida Diversity Council, the Conference Board, Jacksonville Business Journal, Indo-USA Chamber of Commerce of Jacksonville, FL, and the First Coast Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

Cal is well known in the D&I community for his design, development and delivery of engaging and thought-provoking cultural competence workshops.  Topics include generations, gender, lookism, self-awareness, discrimination, bias, classism and the cultural competence of managers.

His community involvement includes the Hispanic Institute for Life & Learning, OneJax’ Project Breakthrough, Blueprint for Prosperity, Jacksonville Diversity Council, Northeast FL Leadership Council, FL Black Expo Advisory Board, Northeast FL United Negro College Fund Advisory Board, and Community Hospice of Northeast FL Board of Directors.
