About Twanya Hood Hill
Twanya Hood Hill is currently director of organizational development and learning at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). Prior to HCMC, she was the founder of Akina Consulting, a practice dedicated to learning and organization development. Hood Hill began her professional career as a chemical engineer in research and product development at Procter and Gamble and later worked as a general management consultant at A.T. Kearney, Inc., manager of leadership and team development at Target Corporation, director of field training and development at Gap, Inc., and head of leadership and management development in the commercial division of Genentech, Inc.
Twanya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical engineering, and a MBA with an Organizational Development from the University of Chicago.
