About Carlos Herrera
Carlos Herrera is part of Allstate’s Inclusive Diversity team in Human Resources. He brings over 15 years of Talent Acquisition, University Relations, and Inclusive Diversity experience. He began his career at Allstate in 2004. During that time, Carlos led the National Sales Management recruitment efforts and later was promoted to play an influential role on the Diversity, Inclusion and Work/Life team. After he left Allstate in 2008, he rejoined in 2012. His work involves developing and executing Inclusive Diversity strategies around Allstate’s nine Employee Resource Groups, which have become an even stronger driving force at Allstate.
Carlos loves what he does because he appreciates the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people at Allstate and in the community. Bottom line…Carlos loves being in “Good Hands”!
Carlos’ family roots started in the little pueblos de Mexico. He was born and raised in the Chicagoland area with both his parents and 3 brothers. He is a graduate from Illinois State University. Ultimately, Carlos strives to live in his happy place every day.
