About Valton Henderson
Valton Henderson is currently the Senior Employee Relations Consultant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. He provides consultative support and solutions to management and staff regarding a variety of employee relations matters, including compliance hotline complaint issues, the interpretation of corporate policies and the resolution of workplace conflicts. He also acts as a subject matter expert regarding employee relations best practices and trends, conducts complex investigations and provides the company's response to charges filed with state and federal human rights agencies. Valton has been appointed to the Blue Cross Diversity Council, is a member of the company's Bronze Achievers Employee Resource Group and serves on the Executive Committee of the Twin Cities Diversity Roundtable. Prior to this position, he was a Senior Human Resources Consultant with the company, working with assigned business units on a number of projects, including crafting workplace flex strategies.
His former employment experiences include senior-level diversity, employee relations and labor relations positions with the Minnesota Department of Health, Graco, Inc., and the Universities of Minnesota and Illinois.
