About Rick Harris
Rick Harris is currently Director, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy for Walgreen Co. in Deerfield, IL. He is responsible for the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies and for affirmative action compliance for the Walgreens Family of Companies. In this role he engages key partners across the enterprise to achieve Walgreens’ diversity and inclusion vision through comprehensive strategies that align to business objectives and include quantitative and qualitative analyses for accountability. Prior to joining Walgreens, Rick served in various senior leadership roles with Kraft Foods in Northfield, IL, Pactiv Corporation in Lake Forest, IL and Abbott Laboratories. In these roles, he provided strategic leadership and direction in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Performance Management Systems, EEO Compliance, Diversity and Employee Relations. Rick attended the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Labor & Industrial Relations.
