About Paris Gatlin
Paris Gatlin joined Arc in 2003 as an Early Intervention/Prevention Advocate, and was promoted to Senior Advocate in 2007. She is a mentor and advisor to other advocates and is helping to extend Arc’s outreach to communities of color through activities such as facilitating a parent networking group at Parents in Community Action (PICA). She also co-chairs Arc’s Diversity Council and its Abuse Prevention Strategic Work Team. In addition, Paris is on the Minneapolis Interagency Early Intervention Committee (IEIC), Anoka County’s Healthy Start Committee, and Ramsey County’s Sexual Assault Protocol Team. Before joining Arc, Paris worked for the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches as Program Coordinator for the Discover support group for women transitioning from welfare to work.
