About Kimberly Foster Price, Vice President, Community Affairs
Kimberly Foster Price was appointed Vice President, Community Affairs of 3M Company in May 2012. In this role, Ms. Price and her team guide strategic development and implementation of 3M’s Global Community Giving Program including oversight of the 3M Foundation. These efforts address employee engagement, community outreach, grant-making and philanthropy. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Price served as Assistant General Counsel in Mergers and Acquisitions at 3M for over twenty-five years.
Committed to her community, Ms. Price’s efforts have embraced Board service to the legacy Minneapolis Council of Girl Scouts, Breck School, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN, Phyllis Wheatley Community Center and the Ivy Foundation. Ms. Price is an active member of The Links, Incorporated, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She was a recipient of the Minnesota Attorney of the Year Award (2008), a 3M Company Volunteer of the Year Award (2009), an African-American Heritage Award (2011), and a Girl Scout Centennial Honoree (2012) in recognition of her significant professional and civic accomplishments. Recently, Ms. Price was recognized as a Diversity Journal Woman Worth Watching and one of Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Corporate America. Ms. Price is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Ms. Price earned her Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law, her Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University and her Bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College.
