About Bob Feiner

Bob joined Dell in April 1999 and is the Vice President of the Dell Global Deployment and Field Services organization.  His team includes five functional organizations: the Global Field Services team responsible for Dell’s onsite service and 15,000 onsite engineers; the Global TakeBack team which oversees Dell’s environmental responsibilities for both Dell and Dell customers; the Global Configuration Services team responsible for customer specific hardware and software customization, as well as asset tracking and software image services; the Global Storage Services team, responsible for deployment of Dell’s storage solutions; and Global Installation Services responsible for new system setup and installation at Dell customer sites.

Bob also serves as the global co-chair for True Ability, Dell’s Employee Resource Group for team members impacted by special needs and/or disabilities.

His previous experience at Dell includes leading Global Field Services (2010), managing the Americas Enterprise technical support (2007), growing Enterprise Field Delivery (2004) and building the first of what would become five global Enterprise Command Centers (2001).  

Prior to Dell, Bob was a management consultant in Ernst & Young’s Supply Chain management practice. He also held a variety of roles in the energy industry. Bob graduated with a MBA from the University of Texas–Austin in 1997 and has a BS-Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University, 1991.
