About Mike Ellis

As Sprint’s National Director for Sprint Relay, Mr. Ellis has been a part of the nation’s largest Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) for 22 years. Through his work, Mr. Ellis helps to shape the evolution of telecommunication products and services for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Speech disabled communities. As a subject matter expert on Diversity and Inclusion of the Deaf/HOH in the workplace and society, Mr. Ellis has testified before various government officials across the country and in New Zealand. His work with governing boards, state associations and consumer advocacy organizations has helped to create change in the quality of life for various disability groups.

Most recently, Mr. Ellis lead a team at Sprint to create the REAL DEAL Employee Resource Group (ERG) that focuses on creating resources, raising awareness and empowering employees with disabilities. He now serves as the Executive Sponsor for the REAL DEAL ERG at Sprint.

Mr. Ellis earned his B.A. from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., and an M.A. from Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. He currently serves on the Foundation Board for the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and Gallaudet University’s Board of Associates.
