About Daniel Duty,Vice President, Marketing

Daniel is Target’s VP of Marketing where he has responsibility for developing Target’s global brand and reputation.  Prior to that he led the Enterprise Strategy Team in developing strategies that promote long-term growth for the company.  He also served as Target’s Director of Business Partnerships & Negotiations. As Sponsor of Target’s LGBT employee resource group, he is focused on developing workplace strategies that drive an inclusive culture, as well as ideas to help Target reach the LGBT market.  He is a frequent volunteer for LGBT casuses and served on the Boards of District 202, a center for LGBT youth, and HRC.
Before  joining Target, Daniel worked as an aide to US Senator Paul Simon on foreign affairs matters, a trial attorney for the US International Trade Commission, corporate counsel to General Mills, and the principal of his own negotiations consulting group.
