About Mary Christensen

Mary Christensen is President and Co-founder of Experienced Resources, LLC, an executive talent management firm that provides experienced executives for projects and interim assignments in health care.  Mary founded her company with two visions in mind; the first was a personal vision to positively affect more people’s lives and the second was a company vision to fully utilize the wisdom and experience of individuals in the second half of their careers by providing meaningful work that positively impacts their lives and improves the operations of health care clients.

Mary and her staff have been featured and quoted in multiple media publications including MinnesotaBusiness Magazine, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and a variety of other local and regional publications. 

Ms. Christensen is a member of the board of directors for Vail Place, a non-profit organization that assists adults with mental illnesses.  She chairs the View of Vail Committee, is a speaker at View of Vail Tours and is very active in the Dr. David Vail Hour annual fundraising event.  Mary was instrumental in creating the patient hand massage volunteer program at Fairview Southdale.

Ms. Christensen has over 17 years of experience in health care and has held leadership positions in pediatrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology and OBGYN.  Mary received her formal education in human resource management at Cardinal Stritch University and health care management at the University of Central Florida.  She is a member of the Women’s Health Leadership Trust (TRUST), Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA), Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA), and Healthcare Human Resources Association of Minnesota (HHRAM).
