About Yuri Brown-Cruzat
Current Responsibilities: Yuri Brown-Cruzat is Fannie Mae’s Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Brown-Cruzat is responsible for leading the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of Fannie Mae’s corporate diversity and inclusion strategy, policies, and programs, including the development of a strategic plan to determine the future of diversity and inclusion at the company.
Experience: Before joining Fannie Mae in 2014, Brown-Cruzat was CEO and Founder of EPIC Associates, LLC, a human capital, diversity, and inclusion firm supporting Fortune 50 and 100 clients with their diversity and inclusion strategies and integrating them into their core business initiatives. Previously, she was the National Director of Strategic Diversity and Inclusion for the U.S. Cellular Corporation; Hudson’s Director of Consulting Services; Assistant Vice President of Finance for CNA Insurance; Ernst & Young’s Regional Campus Recruiting Manager; and the West Region Recruiting Manager for WellPoint Health Networks.
Education: Brown-Cruzat has a bachelor of science in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, including extended studies in economics at Oxford University.
