About Cassandra Alston

Cassandra Alston is the Executive Director at Global Workforce. In this role she develops and manages diversity initiatives globally across all business units for the corporation. Her effort is focused on initiatives in diversity recruiting, retention and engagement as well as the development of sustainable infrastructure and processes. Previous to this role, Sandy was Vice President of Operations for the Johnson Controls Facility Management business unit. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Cassandra was a consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Senior Operations Director in a large energy company, and a plant engineer for Exxon Mobil. Cassandra received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where she was also captain of the Women’s Basketball team. She additionally holds an MBA from Northwestern University where she was an Austin Scholar.
