W3-C Diversity & Cultural Competence: What Gets Measured Gets Done

About Angela Pracher

Ang Pracher is an internal consultant with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida’s (BCBSF) Office of Cultural Competence and Diversity where she is responsible for integrating diversity and cultural competence into the business at the strategic, programmatic, and tactical levels.  She has designed processes for and provides consultative support and direction to BCBSF’s diversity business councils and employee resource groups; designs and implements diversity strategies and tactics tied to overall business success; and has designed and led workplace mentoring programs.

Ang is a founding member of the Blue Diversity Alliance, which supports diversity and inclusion initiatives across BCBS plans.  She also led the efforts to gain leadership approval for BCBSF to become the Lead Employer for the First Coast Business Leadership Network, an employer-to-employer resource group for the hiring, retention, and development of people with disabilities.

She has a variety of experiences in leading project teams and in designing, implementing, and managing initiatives for high school and college employees, flexible work arrangements, tuition reimbursement, relocation, and career planning and development.  Ang received her AB from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and her JD from the University of Florida (Gainesville) and is a member of The Florida Bar.
