2012 Sessions

The Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity offers advanced programming that will provide take-away tools for immediate use in the work place.

Session Format

Sessions are offered in two formats:

  • Day 1 Pre-Conference Professional Development Institutes (PDI) are 3.5 hour sessions.
  • Day 2 and 3 workshops are 90 minute sessions.

Session Categories

Practical application - From learning about Mass Mutual’s diverse leadership pipeline (W5-E) to learning innovative strategies to attract female talent (W1-G), the Forum provides you with topics you need to discuss and bring back to work immediately.

Best Practices - You’ll not only learn about innovative ERG practices from four leading companies (W3-F) or how AARP imbedded cultural competence throughout their organization (W5-B), you’ll also get how-tos to transfer that information to your organization.

Challenging topics - The neuroscience of the brain (W2-A), reducing the education gap in Hispanic students (W1-A) and creating D&I practitioner standards (W6-A) are just a few of the challenging topics that are critical this year.
