The Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity will hold its 22nd annual conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A blend of form and function, the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) provides aesthetically pleasing and innovative solutions for a variety of conferences, trade shows and events. With nearly 480,000 square feet of trade show space, 87 column-free conference meeting rooms, a 28,000-square-foot ballroom, and an auditorium with superb production and flexible technology options, the facility can handle any event from a small meeting to a large convention or trade show.
Conveniently located close to freeways and only 20 minutes from the airport on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Convention Center is easy for attendees and exhibitors to find. Plus, the Minneapolis convention, trade show and event center is connected by climate-controlled skyways to the downtown hotels, restaurants and shopping.
Conference check-in is located on the main level in the foyer area and breakfast and keynote presentations will be located in Ballroom A on both Day 1 and Day 2.
Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18.

Ground Transportation
SuperShuttle Minneapolis/St. Paul offers convenient airport shuttle service to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals).
Tips for SuperShuttle Shared-Ride Van Service. Reservations are not necessary for arrival into Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
- Claim your luggage.
- At Lindbergh Terminal: Proceed to the lower level (follow signs to ground transportation), and continue to follow the signs upstairs to the Scheduled Van/Hotel Shuttle Van loading area. The SuperShuttle Guest Service Desk is well marked and located near the center of the shuttle area. Please check in with the Guest Service Agent.
- At Humphrey Terminal: Please locate the Hotel Shuttle Courtesy Phone located near baggage claim. A SuperShuttle dispatcher will direct you the Ground Transportation Area to meet the van. Note: SuperShuttle does not automatically stop at the Humphrey Terminal. Please call them for transportation upon arrival. You will be able to pay the driver directly on board the van.
- The rate is $16.00 per person one-way to the Hilton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis; and $30.00 per person for a roundtrip, offered only when purchased prior to arrival. Guests will receive a $2.00 discount off the return trip when the return trip ticket is purchased prior to arrival. Group rates are available for parties of 10 arriving together at $85.00 per van for those groups arriving or returning as a whole group. Exclusive vans are dedicated for only your group (10 passengers), and will not make any other stops.
- The rate directly to the Minneapolis Convention Center is $18.00 for the first person and $9.00 for each additional person.

From the West (I-94)
Take the 4th Street exit from I-94 and proceed to 2nd Avenue South. (Do NOT turn right onto 2nd Avenue North.) Turn right on 2nd Avenue South and go 8 blocks to Convention Center.
From the West (I-394)
Take Downtown exit (12th Street): follow 12th Street South to 2nd Avenue South and turn right. The Convention Center is on your left.
From the East (I-94)
Take the 11th Street exit: follow 11th Street South until you reach 2nd Avenue South, turn left onto 2nd Avenue South and cross 12th Street South. The Convention Center is on your left. The Underground Plaza Parking Ramp is on your right.
From the South (I-35W)
Follow downtown exit signs to the 11th Street exit and follow 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to Convention Center.
From the North (I-35W)
Take I-35W to Hwy 280. Follow Hwy 280 to I-94 west. Follow I-94 to the 11th Street exit (NOT 11th Avenue exit). Follow 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to the Convention Center.
From the Airport Main Terminal
Take Hwy. 55 exit from the airport. Follow Hwy. 55 west to Minneapolis. This will become Hwy. 62 west. Follow Hwy. 62 to I-35W north to Minneapolis downtown exits. Then take the 11th Street exit. Follow 11th Street South to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left on 2nd Avenue South and go 1 block to the Convention Center.
Entrances/Exits to Underground Plaza Parking Ramp
Enter either on 2nd Avenue South, or on 12th Street South. The Plaza Ramp has handicap parking – elevators and a skyway connect the Ramp to the Convention Center, allowing easy access for wheelchairs.
Public Entrances
There are four main public entrance rotundas located on 2nd Avenue S. & Grant Street, labeled "Ballroom Entrance," "Plaza 1," "Plaza 2" and "Plaza 3." Designated handicap-accessible entrances (power assisted doors) are adjacent to Plaza 3 (entrance closest to Wesley Church), and the 12th Street Entrance.
