November 10 - Law as Sword and Shield: A Progressive Approach to Race in Post-9/11 America 

In partnership with the YMCA's Its Time to Talk: Forums on Race, the School of Law is hosting a two-hour CLE workshop with Keynote Speaker Valerie Kaur from 8:00-10:00 a.m. More information available here.

 

November 12 - Crime, Punishment and Redemption: Three Unique Reunions

 The Holloran Center  invites you to hear from four individuals who went to prison for white collar crimes in Minnesota and from their respective federal sentencing judges and prosecutors. More information available here. 

 

November 16 - Screening of the film The Visitor

The screening is hosted by the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services, in conjunction with Active Voice and Participant Media, at 4:00 p.m. More information available here.

 

December 8 - Law Alumni Christmas Party

Mark your calendars! The School of Law invites you to the annual Christmas Party for holiday cheer from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Invitations will be mailed in mid-November.

 

December 14 - Chigaco UST Law Alumni Happy Hour

If you live in or near Chicago, join us for a happy hour to celebrate, reunite and make new friends and contacts at 5:30 p.m. at Fado's Irish Pub. Food, libations and good cheer will be provided. Please email Nicole Fredricks Jackson to R.S.V.P. by December 9th. 

School of Law - Lawyer Search

The Lawyer Search is an innovative program for both UST law alumni and the public.  Law alumni can market their services to each other and to the community; the public can search for a UST Law lawyer to meet community and legal needs.  All users can search the following categories:  name, practice area, location, class and employer.  


Lawyer Search is a great opportunity for you to connect with people who can benefit from your gifts, talents and legal expertise. The program is available now, so please register today to be included in the University of St. Thomas School of Law Lawyer Search. 

Each year you will be asked to verify and/or update your information in order to keep the program up-to-date and useful for users searching for UST law graduates.  You can also change the information on your page at any time by contacting Nicole Fredricks Jackson.
