Join us as we celebrate the mystery of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation by our students, and the close of the Easter season.
The Pentecost Vigil Mass takes on the character of the Easter Vigil but emphasized the descent of the Holy Spirit. At this Mass celebrated by the Most Reverend Lee Piché, Auxilary Bishop for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, nine student will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. All are welcome to attend. A reception will follow in the Koch Fireside Room.
Please note that there will be no 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, May 19th.
Pentecost Sunday Reflection
This coming Sunday, Christians throughout the world will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. Pentecost Sunday, considered one of the greatest feasts in the Christian liturgical calendar, comes fifty days after Easter Sunday and ten days after the Ascension of our Lord. The Day of Pentecost marked a turning point in the early Christian church. Join the graduating class of 2013 at this special Mass marking their graduation.
Attendees may wear their academic regalia and process with the other Mass participants. Processing members should gather in the sacristy (behind the sanctuary) by 7:00 pm to vest and for instructions. Coats and bags may be left in the vesting area.
Campus Ministry is also seeking volunteers to serve as greeters.

Please join the Cathedral of St. Paul and the University of St. Thomas for a book study of Matthew Kelly's Rediscover Catholicism. Invite a Catholic friend who may be struggling with his or her faith. This series includes six presentations on aspects of Kelly's book followed by small group discussions. Some topics included are The Catholic Identity, Catholicism and the Culture, Knowing and Following the Will of God and more!
Sessions will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on the following Tuesdays:
