MATH 101 or 108/109 Review materials

Two Blackboard Community sites have been prepared for students by the Mathematics Resource Center (MaRC) in order for you to review crucial materials assumed to be prerequisite. The sites are self-enroll and take only a few quick steps:

  • Log into My UST (Blackboard) site.
  • Click the Community tab on top.
  • Enter either MATH 101 Review or MATH 108/109 Review into the Search box.
  • Scroll to find MATH 101 Review or MATH 108/109 Review in the list.
  • Click on the Enroll button beside the site name.
  • On the next page click on the Submit button.

You can now navigate through the materials provided on the website by clicking Information from the left and selecting a topic area.

This site is only valuable if you use it correctly.

  • Read the information sections first,
  • Next reflect on the material by making connections to what you remember,
  • Try any sample problems,
  • Next move on to the exercises when you are comfortable, and
  • Lastly check your answers after you have attempted the problems.

The tutors in the MaRC can help you with any of these problems if the solutions listed do not help.

MATH 108/109 Review materials are also helpful to MATH 113 students.
