During Fall 2013, the mathematics placement exam will be given on Thursdays at noon and Fridays at 3 PM in OSS 225 (except on days when the University is closed). No appointment is necessary, but be sure to arrive on time. The exam usually takes about 30 minutes, but can take up to an hour and a half. Bring a pencil and scratch paper for scratch work.
Students are allowed to take the test once each semester, with summer counting as part of the fall semester and J-term counting as part of spring semester.
Not all students need to take a placement exam. You only need to take the exam if any of the following apply to you:
Results from the exam are available within 2 business days of taking the exam.
