Math Placement Exam Information

The Mathematics Placement Exam (MPE) is used by the Mathematics Department at the University of St. Thomas in order to assure that students are prepared to succeed in the courses for which they register.

  • Take the MPE online. Use the appointment system to request a link to the appropriate exam.
  • MPE Score determines your Math Placement Code (MPC)
