Brenda comes to UST with a wealth of knowledge and experience working with struggling mathematics students and busy students as tutors. Brenda was at Inver Hills Community College's Math Center and Director at the University of Minnesota's General College's Math Center.

Research interests: College attendance decisions, college readiness in mathematics, algebra skills for Finite Math, elementary teacher content and pedagogical content knowledge of mathematics.

Teaching: MATH 108 Calculus with Review I (Fall) and MATH 121 Structures for Elementary Mathematics (Spring)

Dissertation: Elementary Teachers Conceptions of Graphical Representations of Categorical Data

Other interests: Her family, knitting, biking, church work, and watching tennis.
