Math Events throughout the year

  • Math and Actuarial Science Club
    All students are welcome to attend meetings and events.
     
  • Math Competitions
    Students are invited to participate in regional and national math competitions.  Please visit the Math Competitions page to learn details.
     
  • Math Student Appreciation Day
    We treasure our students and the joy we share through the study of mathematics.  This mid-November event is a celebration in their honor.  The program usually runs for about an hour, followed by a reception. Invitations are distributed in math classes. 
  • Twin Cities Math Teachers' Circle
    In the summer of 2010, a group of UST math professors and Twin Cities middle school teachers began building a community for discussing mathematics and solving problems
       
  • Wavelets Workshop (June)
    A Wavelets Workshop or Minicourse that is designed to introduce faculty members to wavelets and illustrate how to develop and teach a course on Wavelets and Applications at their home institution.
