This regional team (up to three students) competition consists of ten problems (10 points each)created by professors from other schools in the region. The contest is held on campus and we receive the results about a week later. The contest is intended to reach a somewhat wider pool of students than the Putnam. Past problems and solutions are available on the website.

This year's contest (13th annual) was held on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Three UST teams participated:
(1) Team UST 12: Justin Rubin, Anthony Vella and Matthew Westrum
(2) Team Division: Christopher Ang, Dan Bungert, and Jared Skinner
(3) Team Car Ramrod: Jared Brown, Amanda Christensen, and Pat Persons

Last year's contest (12th annual) was held on Saturday, November 15, 2008.
Scores ranged from 7 to 97. The top score of 97 was achieved by a team from St. Olaf College.
In second place with a score of 93 was a team from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Saturday, November 10, 2007. 53 teams from 25 universities and colleges participated.
Scores ranged from 85 to 5, with a median score of 43. The top score of 85 was achieved by a team from Gustavus Adolphus College. In second place with a score of 80 was a team from Macalester College.

The 10th annual competition was held November 11, 2006. Fifty-eight teams from twenty-seven universities and colleges participated last year. Scores ranged from 100 to 0, with a median of 43.5. Macalester and St. Olaf teams tied for first place with a score of 100.
UST participants were Team 1: Chris Cleveland, Luke Edholm, and Jason McClintic and Team 2: Kelli Lais and Sara Lais. The faculty supervisor was Kurt Scholz.
