- Drop-in during any open hour
- Sign in with your first name and course #.
- Tutors are stationed at desks and should be wearing nametags.
- Find a seat at a table and get out your math book, homework, and class notes.
- Start studying your math assignment.
- Enjoy a piece of candy, too.
- When you have a question, either
- Go to a desk to ask a tutor a question, or
- Ask a tutor to come help you at the table.
- Please be mindful that others are needing help at the same time, so be prepared when you ask for help with a short question or series of questions.
- Some times it gets so busy that the noise level increases, if you need more quiet try visiting the quiet study room in OSS236.
- If you want to check answers to homework problems, then ask a tutor for a solution manual – the deposit of a UST ID is required.
- Manuals cannot leave the MaRC.
- Help with Mathematica is available from any tutor – just ask.
- Some tutors specialize in different courses or are new to working at the MaRC, so you may need to work with more than one tutor.
- Feel free to create a study group to work together in the MaRC or nearby math classrooms. OSS214 is available afternoons. OSS226 & 227 later in the day.
- When finished studying, pack up all of your personal belongings.
