  • Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus Exams
    • A score of at least 3 on the AP AB-Exam will earn you credit for Calculus I and will allow you to register for Calculus II.
    • A score of at least 4 on the AP BC-Exam will earn you credit for both Calculus I and II
    • If the AP BC-Exam score is less than 4, but the AB-Subscore is at least 3, then you will earn credit for Calculus I and will be allowed to register for Calculus II.

    • You may use a graphing calculator, but to adequately assess your calculus skills, DO NOT USE BUILT-IN CALCULUS FUNCTIONS (like derivative or integral).
    • Content of the Calculus II Readiness Assessment

      • Derivative Concepts
      • Applications of Derivatives
      • Integration Concepts (through substitution)

    • The C2PE has no cost and can be taken through the MaRC
    • Passing the C2PE will allow you to register for Calculus II, but you will NOT receive credit for Calculus I
  • Earning UST college credit for Calculus I or Calculus W/Review II with a C- or better will allow you to register for Calculus II.
