# Ways to Get into Calculus II

- Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus Exams
- A score of at least 3 on the AP AB-Exam will earn you credit for Calculus I and will allow you to register for Calculus II.
- A score of at least 4 on the AP BC-Exam will earn you credit for both Calculus I and II
- If the AP BC-Exam score is less than 4, but the AB-Subscore is at least 3, then you will earn credit for Calculus I and will be allowed to register for Calculus II.

- International Baccalaureate (IB) "Higher level" Calculus Exams
- A score of at least 5 on the IB "Higher level" Calculus Exam will earn you credit for Calculus I and will allow you to register for Calculus II.

- Calculus II Placement Exam (C2PE)
- Problems may be open-ended or multiple-choice; you may be asked to show your work
- The C2PE has no cost and can be taken through the MaRC
- Passing the C2PE will allow you to register for Calculus II, but you will NOT receive credit for Calculus I

- Formal UST Calculus I Credit by Examination
- Earning UST college credit for Calculus I or Calculus W/Review II with a C- or better will allow you to register for Calculus II.
