Through a partnership between Residence Life staff, Health and Human Performance faculty, and Wellness Center staff, first-year students living in the Wellness LLC will take a course in common (HLTH 250: Personal Health and Wellness) twice per week and work outside of the classroom once per week on a special project. Students will learn about nutrition, personal training, and healthy living. They will develop skills to better manage stress during challenging times such as midterms, finals and semester transitions. Also, students will learn about mindfulness to help them with their emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The Wellness LLC is located in Dowling and Ireland Halls.
